Welcome to GROTESQUE SHIRTS.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the GROTESQUE SHIRTS website and your purchase of products available through our online store at www.grotesqueshirts.com (the “Site”).
By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “GrotesqueShirts”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Andrea Marchetti — GrotesqueShirts.
“You” and “your” refer to the person accessing the Site or purchasing our products.
2. Use of the Website
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
You must not:
- use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its systems or related services;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Site;
- reproduce, copy, distribute or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written permission.
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to the Site where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, our services, our business or our users.
3. Products and Product Information
GrotesqueShirts operates on a print-on-demand basis. Products are manufactured individually after an order is placed.
We do not normally hold finished stock in advance. Production is carried out through our fulfilment partner Printify, Inc., with products printed by Monster Digital.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, colours and specifications displayed on the Site are accurate.
However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen, device and display settings. Minor variations in colour, print placement or other production details may also occur during the manufacturing process.
Such minor variations do not constitute a defect where the product otherwise conforms to its description and applicable quality requirements.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights, including rights relating to defective or non-conforming products.
4. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
After submitting your order, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order.
An order is accepted when we confirm its acceptance and the order is processed for fulfilment.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, including:
- suspected fraudulent or unauthorised activity;
- an obvious technical or pricing error;
- inability to fulfil the order due to circumstances affecting production or availability;
- information supplied by the customer that is materially incorrect or incomplete.
If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, the amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.
5. Prices and Payments
All prices displayed on the Site are stated in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes where required by law.
Our product prices include standard delivery costs as indicated on the Site. No separate standard shipping fee is normally charged at checkout.
The total amount payable will be displayed before you submit your order.
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
6. Production and Fulfilment
Because our products are made to order, production begins after the order has been confirmed.
The estimated production time is 5–7 business days from order confirmation.
Once production is complete, the order is dispatched to the delivery address provided at checkout.
Production and delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on the destination, carrier conditions, seasonal demand and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided by the customer at checkout.
You are responsible for ensuring that your delivery information is accurate and complete.
Estimated delivery times are:
- Italy: approximately 10–14 business days from dispatch;
- EU countries: approximately 10–21 business days from dispatch;
- Switzerland: approximately 10–21 business days from dispatch.
Accordingly, the total estimated delivery time, including production, is approximately 15–28 business days.
These are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Once your order has been dispatched, we will provide tracking information where available.
Tracking information may not be available for every shipment.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures, carrier disruptions or other events outside our reasonable control. This does not affect any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

8. Right of Withdrawal, Returns and Refunds
Where applicable law provides a statutory right of withdrawal, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
The fact that our products are manufactured on demand does not, by itself, affect your statutory right of withdrawal.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly within the applicable withdrawal period by contacting:

Your notification should include your order number, the items concerned and your contact details.
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods within 14 calendar days.
Unless otherwise required by law, the direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer.
Returned products must be handled with reasonable care. You may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided sufficient evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Where a valid withdrawal has been exercised, we will refund the payments received from you, including applicable standard delivery costs, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed with you and permitted by law.

9. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If a product arrives defective, damaged or materially different from the product ordered, please contact us at:

Please provide your order number and, where appropriate, photographs and a description of the issue so that we can assess the problem.
You are entitled to the remedies provided by applicable consumer protection law, including the legal guarantee of conformity.
Where a product is confirmed to be defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, as applicable.
You will not be required to bear costs that the law requires us to bear in connection with a valid lack-of-conformity claim.
Minor variations in colour, print placement or production details that do not affect conformity with the product description or reasonable quality expectations do not, by themselves, constitute defects.
10. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Products sold to consumers are covered by the applicable legal guarantee of conformity.
For sales covered by Italian consumer law, the legal guarantee applicable to consumer goods lasts two years from delivery and is governed by Articles 128–135 and subsequent provisions of the Italian Consumer Code, as applicable.
The legal guarantee applies independently of any commercial or voluntary guarantees that may be offered.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes mandatory statutory rights.
11. Order Cancellation
You may request cancellation of an order before production has started.
Once production has begun, cancellation of the order is generally no longer possible.
However, the inability to cancel an order after production has started does not affect any statutory right of withdrawal that may apply after delivery.
To request cancellation, contact us as soon as possible at info@grotesqueshirts.com, quoting your order number.
12. Lost or Undelivered Orders
If your order has not arrived within the applicable estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us so that we can investigate the shipment.
Where an order is confirmed to have been lost in transit, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law, which may include a replacement or refund.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
13. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes
Orders delivered to countries outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by applicable law, such charges are the responsibility of the customer.
For orders delivered to Switzerland, any applicable import duties or taxes are likewise the responsibility of the customer.
Customs procedures may also cause delays beyond the estimated delivery timeframe.
14. Intellectual Property
All content available on the Site, including but not limited to:
- the GROTESQUE SHIRTS name and logo;
- original artwork and clothing designs;
- photographs and product images;
- graphics and visual elements;
- written content;
- website layouts and other creative materials;
is owned by, created by or lawfully licensed to GrotesqueShirts and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless expressly permitted by us or by law, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell or commercially exploit any such content.
Purchasing a product from GrotesqueShirts does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork, design or other intellectual property to the customer.
15. Website Availability and Accuracy
We aim to keep the Site and the information provided on it accurate and up to date.
However, we do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted or completely free from errors.
We may modify, update, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site or product catalogue where reasonably necessary.
16. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Subject to this, we are not responsible for losses or delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, customs procedures, technical failures, manufacturing interruptions or other force majeure events.
Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.
17. Force Majeure
We will not be considered in breach of these Terms where performance is prevented or materially delayed by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, for example:
- natural disasters;
- strikes or industrial disputes;
- transportation interruptions;
- manufacturing or supplier failures;
- government actions or restrictions;
- widespread technical failures;
- other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or overcome.
Where such circumstances occur, we will take reasonable steps to minimise their impact where possible.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.
The version published on the Site will be the current version applicable to future orders.
The date shown at the beginning of these Terms indicates when they were last updated.
Changes will not affect rights or obligations that have already arisen under an order placed before the updated Terms came into effect, unless required by applicable law.
19. Governing Law and Consumer Protection
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian law.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory protection granted to you by the laws of the country in which you normally reside, where such protection applies under applicable law.
Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts determined under applicable law.
